Every version of Nextcloud (Nextcloud Hub 7, 8 and earlier releases) runs on an OmegaCloud Linux KVM VPS. We recommend Nextcloud Hub 8 (the latest stable release) on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS with PHP 8.3 and MariaDB 10.11 for the best performance and security.
Our Linux VPS plans offer from 40 GB SSD SAS (Start) to 160 GB SSD SAS (Ultra). For larger needs you can mount an external object storage volume or add another disk from the OmegaCloud panel. SSD storage keeps file transfers fast even for large volumes.

The Start plan (4 GB RAM) suits 1 to 10 light users. The Medium plan (8 GB RAM) comfortably handles 10 to 50 users. The Pro plan (16 GB) supports up to 100 users with Collabora Online enabled. Above 100 users, the Ultra plan (32 GB) or a dedicated server is the better choice.
