General
Exclusively in France, in the Telehouse Paris Magny (TH3) datacenter (Tier 3+), one of the most secure sites in Europe. No data is hosted outside France, which guarantees GDPR compliance.
A VPS (virtual private server) is a virtualised server with dedicated resources - CPU, RAM, storage. At OmegaCloud it is built on KVM virtualisation, with full root SSH access (Linux) or RDP access (Windows).
The Linux VPS runs Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux or CentOS with root SSH access. The Windows VPS runs Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025 with RDP access and the licence included. The Windows VPS costs slightly more because of that licence.
A dedicated server gives you an entire physical machine (100% exclusive resources), ideal for critical workloads. A VPS shares a hypervisor between several customers, with resources guaranteed by strict KVM virtualisation - and no overselling.
Security & network
Yes. Anti-DDoS protection of up to 1 Tbit/s is included at no extra cost in every Linux VPS, Windows VPS and dedicated server plan. Filtering is handled by Netrix Traffic Mitigation, a continuously operated mitigation service: this is genuine scrubbing capacity, not an oversized network link. Protection is always on and transparent to your applications.
Yes, exclusively. The entire infrastructure is hosted in the Telehouse Paris Magny (TH3), Tier 3+ datacenter, on French soil, in compliance with the GDPR.
Yes. Every VPS includes a dedicated IPv4 + IPv6 address, at no extra charge.
Performance & technical
SSD storage on every plan, for high I/O performance.
Yes. Docker is fully compatible with Linux KVM VPS. Full root access lets you install Docker, Docker Compose and any other containerisation solution.
Yes. KVM virtualisation is strict, with no overselling: the vCPU and RAM you pay for stay available, including at peak load.
Yes, snapshots and the emergency console (VNC) are included in every plan and managed from the panel.
Pricing & commitment
Linux VPS start at €6.99/month excl. VAT and Windows VPS at €7.99/month excl. VAT, all inclusive (SSD, 1 Tbit/s Anti-DDoS, dedicated IP, snapshots). The price rises with the RAM, vCPU and storage you choose.
No. A monthly subscription with no commitment is available. Discounts apply to longer commitments: 5% off (3 months), 10% off (6 months) and up to 15% off (12 months).
Yes, all prices are shown excluding VAT.

Under 60 seconds for Linux and Windows VPS, once the order is confirmed. Dedicated servers are available to pre-order - the lead time is confirmed by the team within 48 working hours.
